About Us
As the field of life sciences is growing by the day, we feel a need to spread opportunities to young learners. Lifecodes Academy, a non-profit organization, aims to introduce bioinformatics to youth and expose them to new paths in biology.
Why Us?
Our Vision
A lot of high schoolers are passionate about biology but do not know where to start or what path to go down. Our vision at Lifecodes Academy, a non-profit organization, is to expose youth to various topics in the vast field of life sciences that they may be interested in but have no opportunity to explore. We provide a launch pad for students to gain some basic knowledge and skills that may spark any further inspiration or curiosities.
Our Expertise
Our team consists of many industry experts in various fields of biology with years of experience under their belts.
Our Community
Our community consists of youth and adults alike that share a passion for life sciences. Through the programs and events we host, we open potential paths for students interested in biology. Students can also choose to volunteer with us, by being Teacher's Assistants, by helping with marketing, by making course material, etc. for volunteer hours.

Each course will introduce students to a particular section of life sciences. The content goes more in depth on the topic than schools cover. However, as these are still only minicourses, there is only so much we can cover. We act as a launch pad into exploring the world of life sciences for students who cannot find opportunities elsewhere.
Because Lifecodes Academy touches on many rather advanced topics in the field of life sciences, we suggest that you are a high schooler that has taken at least one biology class before.
