Lifecodes Academy, a non-profit organization, aims to introduce computational biology to youth and show them how computational power can be used to solve biological problems. As the field of life sciences is growing by the day, we feel a need to spread opportunities to young learners.
A lot of high schoolers are passionate about biology but do not know where to start or what path to go down. Our vision at Lifecodes Academy, a non-profit organization, is to expose youth to various topics in the vast field of life sciences that they may be interested in but have no opportunity to explore. We provide a launch pad for students to gain some basic knowledge and skills that may spark any further inspiration or curiosities.
Our team consists of many industry experts in various fields of biology with years of experience under their belts.
Our community consists of youth and adults alike that share a passion for life sciences. Through the programs and events we host, we open potential paths for students interested in biology. Students can also choose to volunteer with us, by being Teacher's Assistants, by helping with marketing, by making course material, etc. for volunteer hours.
